Muslim clergy should avoid giving unnecessary Fatwa
Maulana Mirza Mohammad Athar, President of the newly formed All India Shia Personal law Board (AISPLB)has said that the Muslim clergy should avoid giving unnecessary 'Fatwa' like those over Imrana's divorce case and Sania's dress.
Speaking to the UNI on the sidelines of a general body meeting of AISPLB here lase evening, Maulana Athar said AISPLB opposes such fatwa as this was not the appropriate time.
"In Islam, there is a dress code for women and every body knows about it. There is no need to pass any remark over Sania or others about the dress as it is their personal life and no body has any right to interfere in it," he said.
